Mechabellum Patch Notes 1.01
This update brings the first balance update after 1.0. We also adjusted the Combat Power system based on players’ feedback, and we also added some more seasonal rewards and a new Grandmaster rank to the game. This update will be carried out at 8:00 AM on October 11, 2024, UTC time. At that time, the server will undergo update maintenance for approximately 30 minutes.
Combat Power Adjustment
In this update, we adjusted the Combat Power algorithm, which greatly reduced the players’ Combat Power loss after losing a battle. And our optimization of the Combat Power system will not end here. In future updates, we will provide PvE players with ways to gain Combat Power.
More Seasonal Rewards, and Grandmaster League
Under the new Combat Power algorithm, players’ combat power will grow faster, so we have added more season rewards for everyone to collect. In addition, we have also added a new Grandmaster League.
Performance Optimization
Further reduced the game’s memory usage.
Balance Adjustments
Typhoon
The cost of [Barrier] increased from 300 to 400, and shield HP decreased from 10000 per Rank to 8000 per Rank.
Dev Note: Currently, the cost-effectiveness of Typhoon’s [Barrier] is too high, making the combination of Typhoon and Overlord too strong. This modification will make Typhoon’s [Barrier] a late-stage Tech.
Overlord
[Overlord Artillery]’s range increased from 120 to 140, but damage decreased from 11000 per Rank to 4000 per Rank.
Dev Note: We hope that this change can transform the [Overlord Artillery] Tech from an offensive-only Tech to a more general Tech.
Stormcaller
ATK decreased from 834 to 784 (6% decrease).
Dev Note: Since Tarantula was added to the starting units, Stormcaller has become more powerful than before. This change is intended to reduce the threat of Stormcaller to high-HP units.
Crawler
[Loose Formation] now decreases Crawler’s HP by 30%.
Dev Note: This change is intended to make units such as Fangs and Mustangs more effective against Crawlers with the [Loose Formation] Tech.
Fortress
HP decreased from 45297 to 43938 (3% decrease).
ATK decreased from 6369 to 6177 (3% decrease).
Marksman
[Elite Marksman]’s ATK bonus decreased from 20% per Rank to 17% per Rank.
Vulcan
HP decreased from 37561 to 36054 (4% decrease).
Melting Point
[Assault Melting Point]’s speed bonus increased from 3 to 5.
Steel Ball
[Fortified Target Lock] no longer decreases range.
Arclight
[Elite Marksman]’s ATK bonus decreased from 25% per Rank to 22% per Rank.
Scorpion
HP decreased from 19625 to 18632 (5% decrease).
[Field Maintenance] now increases Scorpion’s HP by 30%.
Fire Badger
The cost of [Napalm] decreased from 300 to 200.
The cost of [Scorching Fire] decreased from 250 to 200.
Tarantula
The cost of [ArmorPiercing Bullets] decreased from 200 to 150.
Bugfixes
Fixed some display issues.
